1. What is Personal Data?
Personal data is defined in the KVKK as any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. Accordingly, information you share with us such as your name, surname, date of birth, ID number, email address, phone number, and similar data are considered personal data.
HSC METAL collects your personal data either when you directly share it with us, through automated means, or from other sources such as third-party platforms.
2. What is the purpose and legal basis for processing your personal data?
HSC METAL collects and processes your personal data in order to fulfill legal obligations arising from your relationship with us and to inform you about campaigns and benefits.
Accordingly, HSC METAL processes your personal data to handle and respond to your complaints, process your payments, improve our products, services, communication methods, and website functionality, and to offer you personalized products, communications, targeted advertisements, and product recommendations.
HSC METAL processes and stores your personal data for the purposes mentioned above, based on your explicit consent, or when it is directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract with you, or in cases where it is necessary for our legitimate interests, provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms.
3. For what purpose and to whom do we transfer your personal data?
Your personal data may be shared with HSC METAL’s shareholders, domestic and international subsidiaries, and our business partners (such as shipping, delivery, call center, database, and cloud service providers) to continue our business relationship and operate our services.
Additionally, personal data may be shared with courts and other public institutions when legally required.
HSC METAL may also share your personal data, including your browsing information and traffic data, related to your visit to our websites, with authorized public institutions and organizations when legally required for your safety and to fulfill our legal obligations.

Your personal data shared with our company is stored securely on HSC METAL’s domestic or international servers in compliance with relevant legal regulations, KVKK provisions, and HSC METAL standards. In this context, HSC METAL takes the necessary technical and administrative security measures stipulated by legislation to ensure the security of your personal data.
5. How long do we retain your personal data?
According to Article 7, Paragraph 1 of the KVKK, when the purpose requiring the processing of your personal data no longer exists and/or when the legally required retention periods expire, your personal data will be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized by us.
6. What are your rights under the Law on the Protection of Personal Data?
According to Article 11 of the KVKK, to the extent your personal data is processed by HSC METAL in the capacity of data controller, and within the scope of KVKK and other applicable laws, you have the right to:
• Learn whether your personal data is being processed,
• Request information if your personal data has been processed,
• Learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose,
• Know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
• Request correction if your personal data has been processed incompletely or inaccurately,
• Request the deletion or destruction of your personal data under the conditions set out in the KVKK,
• Request notification to third parties to whom your data has been transferred if your personal data is corrected, deleted, or destroyed,
• Object to a result against you that arises from analyzing your processed data exclusively through automated systems,
• Request compensation if you suffer damages due to the unlawful processing of your personal data.
You can submit your request to exercise these rights in writing or by using a method determined by the Personal Data Protection Authority.
